Day 1

TABRIZ

When you arrive at the Tabriz airport, your tourist guide will greet and accompany you to your hotel. You will have time to rest and relax before your tour of Tabriz commences. Tabriz is home to one of the most cultured races in Iran, the Azaris. Visit Eil Goli park where the water resource was used for agricultural purposes.Tabriz Grand Bazaar is one of the oldest bazaars in the Middle East and the largest covered traditional bazaar in the world. From the bazaar we go to Kabood Mosque. Then you will visit the Mashrouteh house. Stay overnight in Tabriz.

Day 2

TABRIZ - JOLFA - 5 hours driving

Today you have an excursion outside the city.Drive to Jolfa to visit the UNESCO-listed Armenia church of St Stephanos 17km from Jolfa overlooking the Aras River. Stay overnight in Tabriz.

Day 3

Bandar Anzali

In the morning drive to Bandar Anzali. En route visit the world heritage site of the Mausoleum of Safi-Ad-Din-e-Ardebili. Then continue driving to Anzali. Stay overnight in Bandar Anzali.

Day 4

LAHIJAN

After breakfast drive to Lahijan. En route visit Anzali lagoon. Then we will visit Masouleh which is at least a millennium old. It is one of Iran’s most famous village and is picture perfect. You have one more stop to visit Rasht rural museum. Then continue driving to Lahijan.
Stay overnight in Lahijan.

Day 5

RAMSAR

In the morning visit Sheytan Kuh in Lahijan. Then driving to Javaherdeh, one of the most spectacular villages in the north. Then head to Ramsar and enjoy the scenic view of mountains, forest and caspian sea. Stay overnight in Ramsar.

Day 6

BEHSHAHR

In the morning drive to Behshahr. This city has a great reputation for its beautiful scenery. You will visit Abbas abad garden which is a world heritage site. Then you will visit Hutu cave. Stay overnight in Behshahr.

Day 7

GONBAD-E KAVUS

Drive to Gonbad- Qavus. You will visit the highest brick tower in the world. Qavus tower (UNESCO world heritage site) is the only structure of old Jorjan which dates back to early 11th century. Then you have the chance to visit the largest track derby in Iran. Stay overnight in Gonbad-e Qavus.

Day 8

BOJNURD

After breakfast drive to Bojnurd. En route visit Khaled nabi ancient cemetery. Then continue driving to Bojnurd. You will visit Mofakham mansion in Bojnurd. Stay overnight in Bojnurd.

Day 9

MASHHAD

Today you will drive to Mashhad. Upon your arrival in Mashhad you will visit the holy shrine of Imam Reza the eighth Imam of Shitts. The splendor of the holy shrine will amaze any visitor. Then head to Nadir shah museum and get familiar with one of the most famous kings of Iran. Stay overnight in Mashhad.

Day 10

MASHHAD

Today you have an excursion to Tus to visit Tomb of Ferdowsi, an Iranian poet who is known for his epic poem book, Shahnameh. Then drive to Kang village to visit its beaties. You will visit Kouh sangi park in the evening. Stay overnight in Mashhad.

Day 11

KHAF

Today you will drive 315 km to Khaf. En route you Will visit tomb of famouse poet Jami. Then you will visit Nashtifan wind mill and theoligical school of Khargerd. Stay overnight in Khaf.

Day 12

BIRJAND

In the morning drive to Birjand. You will visit Birjand castle which is one the oldest and most scenic castles in Iran with the area of 3000 square meters. It’s been built in Safavid period. It’s been built with mud bricks and people were safe at the time of Turkmens and Uzbeks invasions. Our next stop would be Arg-e baharestan (baharestan fortress) which is a monument from Afsharid time and known as Bagh-e zereshki. After that we visit Shokati school as the third modern school in Iran. We will visit khaje khezr which is a sort of mosque mausoleum showing the rituals for burial ceremonies in old time. The next place to visit is a UNESCO world heritage site. Akbarieh garden with some magnificent pavilions is like a paradise in the middle of desert. There is an anthropology museum in this garden which you’ll be acquainted with the local customs and traditions of people. Rahimabad garden with its picturesque pavilion with pool, storage rooms, surrounding walls and watching towers is really worth to visit.Stay overnight in Birjand.

Day 13

SHAHDAD

Drive to Shahdad. En route visit Nayband village and enjoy walking through the old texture of the village. After lunch we proceed to Shahdad area in order to visit Kalut. Kalut means sandy mountains in Persian. Shahdad is on the edge of the Lut desert (UNESCO world heritage site) where in 2005 the temperature reached 159.3F (70.7C). Observe the stars far away from the distraction of city lights. Stay overnight in Shahdad.

Day 14

KERMAN

Kerman is considered a cultural melting pot. It is the largest and most developed city in Kerman Province and the most important city in the southeast of Iran. Kerman is famous for its long history and strong cultural heritage. We will visit Ganjalikhan complex including the square, the well-decorated public bath-house and the traditional bazaar. After walking through bazaar you’ll visit Se-gonbadan (three-domes). Then drive to Mahan and visit Shah Nematolah Vali Shrine and Shazde Garden (UNESCO world heritage site). Stay overnight in Kerman.

Day 15

YAZD

Drive to Yazd. En route visit Zein-ol-din caravanserai, it’s a unique structure with circular shape which dates back to 400 years ago. then we will visit the Saryazd castle , the first bank in the world. Then we head to Yazd. Stay overnight in Yazd.

Day 16

YAZD

Yazd, with its sun-dried adobe buildings, is the bride of the desert. This ancient city is furnished with mosques of stunning beauty which co-exist with Zoroastrian holy sites. Your tour will include a stroll through the city, visiting the old town, Jame Mosque and Amir Chakhmagh Square. We also visit the Zoroastrian Fire Temple and Tower of Silence as well as the Water Museum and Dolat Abad Garden. Stay overnight in Yazd.

Day 17

KASHAN

Drive to Kashan. En route visit the ancient city of Meybod. You will visit the Ice house, caravansary, Narin Castle and the Pigeon Tower. Continue driving to Kashan. Upon your arrival in Kashan you will visit Fin garden. Stay overnight in Kashan.

Day 18

ESFAHAN

After breakfast you will get familiar with the traditional desert style houses which are the most prominent characteristics of Kashan. We will get a chance to visit two of them , Borujerdi-ha and Tabatabaei-ha house. Drive to Esfahan en-route you will visit Abyaneh village also known as red village. Have lunch in Natanz. Stay overnight in Esfahan.

Day 19

ESFAHAN

The fame of Esfahan led to the Persian pun and proverb “Esfahan nesf-e- jahan ast.” Isfahan is half the world. Legend has it that the city was founded at the time of the Tahmoures or Keykavous. It is the pearl of traditional Islamic archaeology. There are many contemporary artists who work in Esfahan. Your tour includes the famed Imam Square (Naqsh-e-Jahan). We visit the architectural marvels of Sheikh Lotfollah and Imam Mosques, Aliqapu Palace and Chehel Sutoon Palace. At the bazaar you may purchase the arts and crafts for which Esfahan is so well renowned. Here, we have art, architecture, spirituality, luxury, commerce and social life all together. Then we shall view the historical bridges of Khaju and Si-o-seh Pol. Stay overnight in Esfahan.

Day 20

ESFAHAN

Today you will visit the Atiq Jame mosque which has been built in different Islamic periods from 9th century to Qajar era. After that you will visit Vank church the magnificent Armenian church with eye-catching pointing. By visiting Music museum, you get familiar with Persian music history. Your last stop will be Si-o-Se pol and Khajou bridges. Stay overnight in Esfahan.

Day 21

SHIRAZ

Drive to Shiraz. Your first stop will be Pasargad, the first Achaemenid capital. Necropolis is the magnificent burial place of Achaemenid kings. The site also provides seven bas-reliefs dating back to the Elamite and Sassanid periods. Persepolis was founded by Darius I in 518 B.C. and was the capital of the Achaemenid Empire. Darius planned this impressive complex of palaces not only as the seat of government but also, and primarily, as a show place and a spectacular center for the receptions and festivals of the Achaemenid kings and their empire. Stay overnight in Shiraz.

Day 22

SHIRAZ

Shiraz has a reputation as an enlightened city that has been at the center of Persian culture for more than 2,000 years and was at one time the country’s capital. Shiraz is crowned as the heartland of Persian culture and this city of sophistication will often conjure up images of roses and nightingales, gardens and poetry. The tour will include a visit to the Nasir Almolk Mosque, Narenjestan Garden, Vakil Bath and Bazaar and Saray-e-moshir with its splendid architecture and ethnic souvenir shops. We will stop for lunch at one of the traditional restaurants of Shiraz. Shiraz is home to famous poets such as Hafez and Sa’adi; we shall visit their tombs and in the evening go to the Mausoleum of Shah Cheragh. Stay overnight in Shiraz.

Day 23

AHVAZ

A wonderful tour out of the city awaits you. The route from Shiraz to Ahvaz is long but worth taking. We have two stops on our way to Shiraz: the remains of the ancient City of Bishapour and the reliefs of Tang-e Chogan meaning The Valley of Polo where Royal Sassanids used to play polo. Here you can see the carved images of Sassanid kings. Stay overnight Ahvaz.

Day 24

KERMANSHAH

Leaving Ahvaz behind today, it’s time to head into Shush.You will visit Chogha-Zanbil ziggurat. Then we continue driving, we will visit Hydrolic system (UNESCO world heritage site) which includes the waterfalls and water mills belongs to the Sasanid era in Shushtar. Then continue driving to Kermanshah. Stay overnight in Kermanshah.

Day 25

HAMADAN

In the morning we drive to Hamadan. Hamadan is believed to be among the oldest Iranian cities. It is possible that it was occupied by the Assyrians in 1100 BCE. Hamadan is on one of the age-old Asia to Mediterranean caravan routes. Your tour includes visits to the Tomb of Avicenna, Gonbad-e Alavian (Alaviyan Dome), and the Ganj Nameh Inscription which are relics from the period of Darius and Xerxes of the Achaemenian era. Stay overnight in Hamadan.

Day 26

TAKAB

In the morning we visit Easter and Mordkhai the famous Jewish mausoleum. Then drive to Takab to visit Takht-e soleyman(UNESCO world heritage site) .Stay overnight in Takab.

Day 27

ZANJAN

After breakfast drive to Zanjan. You will visit Rakhtshuykhane and Salt men museum in Zanjan. Stay overnight in Zanjan.

Day 28

TEHRAN

Today you will drive to Tehran. En route visit Soltaniye Dome which is the the greatest mud brick dome in the world and the third largest dome after Florence Cathedral and Hagia Sophia. Upon your arrival in Tehran visit Azadi tower. Stay overnight in Tehran.

Day 29

TEHRAN-DEPART IRAN

Tehran, a modern megalopolis, prides itself on having unique museums and unrivaled collections and artifacts dating from the earliest onset of history to the present era. Your tour will take you to some of the most famous museums in the country. First of all you will visit the Golestan palace (UNESCO world heritage site). Then you head to Iran national museum. Your last stop will be Jewels / Carpet museum. Transfer to IKA airport to depart Iran.
