This was my second trip with Tours of Iran. I had such a wonderful experience the first time in 2023 I decided to return to see more of this beautiful country and people. As before, I was solo, with the extremely experienced and professional, Mohammad as my guide and driver. It was like travelling with an old friend (well, he certainly is now!) as we chat and laugh and explore together.
Tours of Iran has been so helpful and professional, their experience really shows. They know how to tailor a tour to each person so we get the absolute best out of our visit. Everything from the visa application to airport transfers were seamless and made my solo trip stress-free. I cannot recommend them too highly.
This time we started in the Gulf at Qeshm Island. I arrived in Tehran, stayed overnight and was picked up the next morning and taken to the domestic airport for my flight to Qeshm. After a couple of days there including Hormuz Island, we took the ferry across to the mainland and started our journey northwards, eventually reaching Tabriz, then making our way south again to Tehran where I caught my flight home after a whirlwind 3 weeks.
I cannot stress how safe and friendly it is in Iran. I wouldn’t have returned if I felt the slightest concern – in fact I couldn’t wait to go back. The landscapes, the people, the absolutely incredibly beautiful mosques, and the food…all wonderful. Each town or village is unique and each corner turned along the highways brings yet another stunning view. From the coast, to the desert, to the mountains, it’s beautiful.
And yes, I’m trying to work out how I can go back again!
